I love creating patterns, I find them in nature when I look closely or from afar and I love to imagine them too. I see them as playful like music dancing around the page and giving a mood. I'm inspired by things like water rippling, seeds inside a fruit, the sky at night, the spin of the planets.  I print my designs on fabric or paint them as a mural or a wallpaper.  Creating patterns has also inspired my work as a painter, they can turn up in rivers or plants I paint, and help me create a sense of rhythm across a canvass.
