My pattern designs are all hand drawn. Inspired by nature around me, water rippling, seeds inside a fruit or pod, the sky at night, the spin of the planets and even tunes in songs inspire certain colours, shapes and rhythm. I've printed my patterns on fabric and this has been a practical way for me to earn a living while continuing on. Imagining patterns has also inspired my paintings, they turn up in the rivers or plants I paint, and help create a sense of rhythm across a canvas.
